Hello everyone:

If someone has any information about what type of towing receiver hitch that would be most suitable for a 2008 GX 470, and where to purchase such a receiver, I would be most grateful for such information.

I have searched online but have found none that was satisfactory. My local Dealer wants to charge ~ $700.00 for the hitch plus installation.

You can buy a factory hitch online for a relatively decent price if you want to install it yourself.

Do you have the pre-wire for towing? Look for the 7-pin connector at the back of the vehicle, and the auxiliary transmission cooler under the hood near the horn.
