I had my Galaxy S6 paired to the BT in my 2009 GX for months. Verizon pushed a software upgrade to the phone and it has not connected with the GX since. I went to Verizon and they said it was not a problem with the phone. They said that the BT standards had changed and the GX was probably built to the old standards.

Has anyone else had this problem? Better yet, do you know of a solution?

I had this happen with my Samsung s5 in my 2006 GS, my wife's iPhone worked fine.. even paired the kids iPhones and still worked fine but S5 no way ?

I tried several things then gave up and purchased a GTA Car Kit, its a little bit of a pain to install because you have to pull out the stereo & a few panels but it works PERFECTLY with my S5.
Even streaming music from You Tube via the BT sounds very nice !!

I'm lurking around in the GX forum because I'm tempted to buy one in the next week.. the one I test drove doesn't have BT so I'll be getting another GTA Kit, that is if I can get a good deal on the GX

Yep, it is really strange in that I had it working perfectly for more than a year. Then one day.... nothing! I am not familiar with the GTA Car Kit. Do you have a link to the kit to check out?

Well, if the GX is in really good shape and you can get an acceptable deal, do it!! I have had a 2005 and a 2009 and I love it. It is a really great truck, especially if you tow stuff. I have had nothing major go wrong with either of them and I put 110K on the 2005.
