Sounds like you got a good deal, and have the ability to make the needed repairs yourself, awesome job! These 4.7 Toyota motors are capable of many, many years of service for sure!

Where in MO are you?

Gud luck and welcome to the forum, since u have the ability to work on the truck yourself I don't think it should be a problem maintaining it. 90k miles and going very strong with the new dash from Lexus.

I'm south of St. Louis near Ste. Genevieve. I think I've got the maintenance up to date now. Of course I always find something to do to a truck with a quarter million miles. There are a few strange noises here and there that I'm beginning to look into.
