Default Radio Does not power on

Got in truck today. Radio would not go on. Got in the truck a few hours later, radio worked. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Amp that powers speakers- has internal overheat switch. If it gets too hot outside and the cabin gets too hot as result turns the amp Off.

A nuisance but here's a quick fix, turn your GX 470 Off for a minute and then turn back On- should fix problem. Lexus is aware but won't take accountability.

When it's cool out no problem- operates as normal. Hope this helps.

Took the L in for service at the dealership.....after having the L serviced and got in it in the service area..NO SOUND AT ALL...went right back inside and told them that the radio was working fine when I arrived and now no sound....Dealership replaced the ML AMP! Hassle free! But it is a common problem with the ML amp and Lexus Corp is well aware of that issue but will not tell you!!!

Mine works fine when it's 114 out. Never had an issue.
