Default No sound from speakers on hot days

I have a Mark Levinson sound system. On hot days, no sound from speakers. When I turn the ignition off, and turn back on, the sound miraculously works...most of the time. Any advice?

Thanks

All the speakers, or just some of them?

All speakers, and...it only happens when it gets really hot outside and cars been sitting for awhile. When it happens, I turn off the car, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on---that seems to fix it but very annoying. . .

Sounds like a problem with the amplifier.

That's what I'm thinking.

But another possibility is a fuse connector that is expanding from the heat. I don't recall which fuse it is, but check to see that it seats firmly. Couldn't hurt to replace the fuse while you're there - cheaper than a replacement/rebuilt amp!

Check the fuse first, but that definitely sounds like an Amp issue. When I used to install multiple amps in vehicles, over-heating was common in areas that were not well ventilated. Obviously the ML system's amp is designed to be under the seat.

Check to see that there is nothing stuffed in between the amp and seat and see if its getting abnormally hot.The replacement cost on those amps are pretty expensive. $400-500ish
