I put new rubber on my 'new to me' '06 a couple of weeks ago and the shop did a complimentary alignment. Nothing 'special' to it and all is well. Any shop that does alignments should be able to do it.

I'm not sure what brand came on it. Maybe it's noted in the Owners Manual? But, why is that needed? i'll guess 'stones.

I was just wondering why Lexus wanted $170 for an alignment and I have Bridgestone dueler H/T's on her now...just wondering if these where on it since new..

I'm guessing they charge $170 BECAUSE they are a Lexus dealer. They probably don't the as many as at tire shop either.

All tire manufacturers have a date code on the sidewall. Checkout B'stone's or TireRack's website and they should have a decoder. It'll tell you the week and year of manufacture for the tires.

Here's the direct link to Tire Rack's info. It should be what you're looking for.

That is a OEM tire for the GX. Might have been others as well.

In 04 the Michelin cross terrains were stock...my 09 came with the Bridgestone H/T. I think I paid 100 bucks at an independent shop for the alignment.

The Lifetime Alignment from Firestone is a tremendous deal ... I've made my money back ten-fold and you can, too.

Look in the owner's manual folder (the "brick") to see if there's a tire warranty brochure. The previous owner might have left it in there from when the GX was first delivered.
