New member here, gotta start somewhere right.

Just like "most", lurked for some for some time and then decided to join. Just recently picked up a 2006 GX470 with only 55K miles from the original owners for a really, really good deal for my wife!

Anyway, not the first Rodeo with Toyota brands or forums. Current whips in the drive way are 1999 Black Toyota Tacoma extra cab 4x4, 2007 Black Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4 5.7 L.

Welcome! I think you'll find loads of good info here. Lots of solid, knowledgeable contributors.

I agree, that's a good looking ext color. Is it paired with a light grey or tan int? I noticed your wheels looked sharp, too. With clear headlight lenses up front, I don't think you've got any cosmetics to worry about.

So... what's your "upgrade" plan with your new GX? Xenon Depot HIDs from Steve? XM / iPod Vaistech module? Mild or wild lift?

Tan interior.

Like other trucks, the first mod was tinting the front windows. Maybe Vaistech IPod.

For the future, maybe when/if needed some better shocks, OME stuff or "Billys". The PO just installed new front & rear brake pads, new Dunlops and new battery.

Not to mention, every ride in my house hold has been pretty modified. Nice to keep keep this one as close to stock as possible. For now at least. Lol

Here my 2007 Tundra Crewmax Limited 4X4 Limited that I got in Nov 2014. 18,756 original miles when I picked it up.

Mods: Tinted windows, BAMuffler S/S Budget, ARB OME 612s, Coachbulders shims & 3" Shackles, Firestone Air Bags, Toytec AAL, 20" XD Rims, 35" Toyo Open Country R/Ts, Husky liners F/R, Vent visors, gooseneck hitch, Amp bumper step, Color matched 202 Grill, mirror caps and door handles.

I'm sure I left some things out.

The Tundra is Badazz and a great ride for having a 4" coil over lift, & 35" tires. But the GX is just simply awesome and incognito!
