For some time I have been chasing a low rumbling noise that happens when driving down the road at any speed. Today I think I noticed the noise while idling at a stop sign (radio off). It caused me to think perhaps I could have a motor mount broken or something. Have any of you had a similar or any problem with motor mounts?

Things done so far, checked underneath for something loose, exhaust etc., changed the shocks, checked the suspension, spare tire. Still noise is there.

the common thing on these cars is to develop a leak on the exhaust header, at first you only really hear it in alleys or where it reflects off stuff... then it gets worse and you hear it on startup and then all the time. could be something else just throwing out the common low rumbling noise I have heard.
