replacing body panels
Hey Everybody,
I've got a couple of body panels I want to replace.
The hood due to hail damage
The front right fender due to my own stupidity.
My 05 has 115k on it so I don't want to go spend a few grand to have it done professionally. But I'd like it to look reasonably good.
I noted that I can buy primed panels fairly inexpensively from rockauto or somewhere similar. I could then take them to a shop for paint matching. And do the install myself.
Another option would be to source something from a boneyard.
Any other obvious options that I'm missing?
