Old Man Emu Prado 120 vs 4Runner Shocks and Struts.
Wow, this is confusing stuff. ARB has different info as far as fitment for the Prado vs the 4runner (Both 120 Series). Here is the run down from softest to firmest. As best as I can figure.
Nitrocharger 139- Softest Valving of the group. Older style. No longer available perhaps. It's a fit they say for the Prado but they don't show it for the 4Runner. But it's the old style less sophisticated damping.
Nitrocharger Sport 90021. Softer version of the 6 stage (or three whoever you want to believe). So the newer nicer but slightly firmer setup then the 139.
Nitrocharger 140S Firmer version of the 139 setup.
Nitrocharger Sport 90000. Stiffest version of the 6 stage (or three whoever you want to believe). So the newer nicer but slightly firmer setup then the 140s and the 90021 with the more sophisticated dampening.
I think it's just that some of these are NOT developed for our market (the 139).
Anyone have any additional info or experience with these setups for the STRUTS and Shocks. Springs are different.
Just for reference. OME vs Bilstein = OME are progressive while Bilstein is Digressive. So OME should be more comfortable on the street and feel softer on the small stuff.
I am looking for a soft comfortable setup. Want more info/experiance on the OME if anyone has it.
