Default Lexus GX470 2007

I've been researching to replace timing belt and water pump for my Lexus GX470 2007. I found 2 difference methods to set the crankshaft prior removing the timing belt below. Please advise the best/easy method to remove the timing belt.

Method 1:
1. Turn the crankshaft clockwise until N.1 cylinder at TDC of compression stroke with timing R-CAM and L-CAM at TDC
2. Turn the crankshaft clockwise a further 50 degree until pulley timing mark aligned with guide pulley bolt. Note: Camshaft sprocket timing marks will move forward 25 degree
3. Remove crankshaft pulley bolt and crankshaft pulley.
4. Remove timing belt.

Method 2:
1. Remove crankshaft pulley bolt
2. Remove crankshaft pulley
3. Reinstall crankshaft pulley bolt
4. Using the crankshaft pulley bolt, turn the crankshaft clockwise until notch on the sprocket guide is aligned with mark on oil pump body.
5. Ensure camshafts sprocket timing marks at TDC
6. Using the crankshaft pulley bolt, turn the crankshaft counterclockwise by 50 degree until notch on sprocket guide is at approx. the 12 o'clock position.
7. Remove timing belt
