Found out yesterday that the buttons on the 'cassette' portion of my stereo dont work! That is besides the volume button and the scan button while on radio mode. Thankfully its the two I would actually use, but an odd issue none the less. Cant remember if they ever worked (only had the car for a month) and I recently installed VAIS MML but I double checked tonight and everything is connected as it is supposed to be...

Any thoughts besides it being broken? Very odd to have the volume **** work.. but no other buttons on the unit.

I have the VAIS MML and no problems using the buttons on the cassette player portion.

Try disconnecting the battery, waiting a couple of minutes, then reconnecting - to do a computer reset.
(you'll have to reset the auto-up windows and your radio stations afterwards)
