TPMS Troubles
I put new tires on my 2005 GX470, and since the original TPMS's batteries had died, I bought 5 sensors (4 on the ground, 1 spare) from OE Wheels online, EON brand. The guy that installed the tires and sensors had done the same for me earlier in the year on my wife's GX470 and everything worked fine. This time on my car, he could not get the car's computer to recognize the sensors and turn out the dashboard light. He said the sensors were all working properly, but the computer would not turn out the light. Does anyone have any suggestions? The tires were installed at BJ's and I really don't want to go to a Lexus dealer if I don't have to.

If during the registration process there is loss of communication with ECU , the causes can be that the terminals od TC and CG were not connected properly or the keys was cycled during the process. You can do to recycle by using the Jumper wire or equivalent , connect TC and CG terminals at the DL3 connector for at least 30 seconds. Do not cycle the ignition switch to OFF position during this step.
Once 30 seconds have passed. While the Ignition is ÖN"
Remove the Jumper wire. The fault will be erased.
