I track my fuel economy every single fill up. The proof is in the pudding. It varies from 30-50 miles on each setting.

It's next to impossible to track fuel economy based on a suspension firmness setting, especially when things like wind speed and direction are a constant variable. But if you think a suspension setting that has no effect on something relevant like ride height gives you better economy, then more power to you.

I like the 2nd from softest setting, while my wife prefers the softest. I definitely notice a difference over the speed humps in my alley.
Also, I have a sticker that gets me +100 HP and 100 MPG!

I bought the Lexus for the luxuries and the fat soft ride, setting number 1 for me. When I'm in the mood for the curve hugging sporty ride I drive my Cobra!

If we have a load I do move it up to 2 for stability.
