New to Forum and new owner of a GX470!
Hello All!
As stated in title, I picked up my first Lexus this morning! I have been looking for two months now and found a really nice Charcoal 2006 GX 470, 86,000 miles, Sport Package, navigation, third row seat, never even installed! Weather Tech floor liners, carpets are a gem underneath, no door dings or scratches, no hitch insert so it never towed anything, clean machine!!
I have always been a Toyota guy, bought my first a '97 Tacoma with the 3.4 V6, then a new '98 T100 with the same V6, great motor, just not enough towing ability, then a used '04 Tundra with the I-Force 4.7 V8, wow what an engine! I have had it 6 years now and have 114,000 miles and its just still purring! This is the reason I wanted the 470 over the 460.
Anyway, I no that eventually I will seek some advise from some of you on issues or repairs or mods, but until then keep it upright!
Thanks,
Jason in WA
