Hey, new to clublexus. Have owned my 2008 GX470 for about 8 months now and love it. However, over the last month I have noticed the molding between the driver door and roof has been popping out. I don't know if there are clamps down in there that have fallen out or if the molding just needs to be clamped back in. Has anyone else experienced this? Picture is below. Thanks.

Yeah it is and honestly don't think it really hurts anything. Just want to know if its an easy fix rather than paying lexus for new molding.

I think its just a squeeze fit. my 04 had the same thing and when I had the windshield replaced the installer fixed it somehow and told me about it. didn't mention glue but not sure what he did.

Lay a thin line of windshield epoxy under the molding. Reinsert the moulding and place a couple pieces of painters tape over the fix. Leave tape in place for a couple of days. Easy couple dollar fix

Purchase epoxy through auto supplies store like autozone or o Reilly's .
