You might search other Toyota truck forums that used the 2uzfe engine (Tundra, Sequoia, 4runner, Land Cruiser) to see if they had similar issues.

Thanks for the info on the plugs seemingly being at least part of your problem....I did also know that $350 was ridiculously high to pay for plugs, which is why I wouldn't do it at that time, but I do also think it is at least part of the problem so I'll check on that asap. I will let you know the results when I can get that done, hopefully within the next 2 weeks!

If anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears!

To give a little more info, the vibration I'm feeling is the type where you would think the road was rough, in the beginning I would actually look at the road I was on and see if it was the road making the vibration due to it being a somewhat bumpy road or something, but I then took it to a couple of different roads that were definitely smooth including a couple that were recently paved and it did the vibration so it confirmed that it was the GX and not the road...but that's the type of vibration I feel right around the 1500 RPM mark in all gears...REALLY hope it's the plugs!!!

has anyone changed transmission mounts and engine mounts? Is this connected?

I had the problem you describe in my Ford Expedition before I bought my GX 470 and the spark plug change fixed it.
