Tacoma Windshield Washer Nozzle Upgrade
I give full credit to the Aussies for this idea. I only found the US part number and confirmed they work great (wife approved!)
http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...r-jets-upgrade
Since I didn't take pics of my install the ones below are borrowed from Pradopoint, but are pretty accurate.
Basically you swap out our awful washer nozzles with the 2005-2011 Tacoma nozzles (aka the Hilux in other countries).
2005 US Tacoma Washer Nozzle Part Number: 85381-04040 (you need 2 of them - there is no left/right)
$35 shipped for a pair: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291088854227
Comparison
Our stock ones look similar to the one on the left (except I think there are 3 jets) and the Tacoma looks like the one on the right:
Left: similar to stock, Right: Tacoma
It takes 5 minutes to swap them out by sticking a ziptie under it from the front, pulling up, and then sticking the ziptie in from the back and pulling the nozzle out. Then you just remove the tube from the stock nozzle (be sure to hold onto it, mine wanted to pull back in), stick the new nozzle onto the tube and click it back into the hood.

Thanks for the post! Funny, I was just looking at my weak nozzles this weekend and sadly comparing them to my other cars.... and thought to myself there has to be a better solution. And now there is! This mod is on my list.

Also, Australia and Thailand are right hand drive cars so the wipers are opposite of ours. I assume that means the nozzles aim differently as well.

Today I tested one of these nozzles (Toyota Genuine Parts 85381-04040) on my 2005 SC430 while parked. The spray pattern was great but almost all the spray went over the roof. Perhaps at speed it would be better. I'm sticking with the existing 3-stream nozzles until I can try ones from another model. Suggestions of nozzles proven on SC430?

I have not personally tried this yet on my GX (worked great on my maxima) but I was going to give it a try this weekend.
