Lexus GX 470/460 Wheels
I've seen numerous photos of GX 460 18" wheels on 2004-2008 GX 470's
Can I buy 18" 460's & put em in my
08' GX 470 ? Do I need larger lugs ?
One company couldn't guarantee that they would fit. Any feedback much appreciated

I put these on a month ago. Used the same size tires as on the GX460. I used the same lug nuts also. No rubbing on turns or when suspension moves. They are very close to the same size as the !7s.

same revs per mile I.e. Circumference. They are just a lower profile, 60 instead of 65 so height of side wall is shorter...not better for flats or off roading but we already know that 99.9 % of use is dragging the kids around.

"Wheels" need to be defined ... assuming the rims are specifically designed for the Toyota/Lexus 6-Lug and are 106.1mm hub centric. All Toyota/Lexus rims meet this specification (4-Runner / FJ Cruiser /Tacoma)... but the offset may vary.
These posts drive me crazy ... Tire Size ? ... Rim Diameter / Width / Offset ? All of these variables add up to a non-rubbing or rubbing situation.
Even the specific tire (tread profile) can cause rubbing.

The question was “stock” gx 460 wheels mounted with stock tire size. They are the same dimensions, 18” wheels with lower profile tire, i.e. shorter sidewalk height, offset is the same 25. If they rub something in the wheel well is off.

Too many posts are fixated on "Tire Size" with absolutely no clue as to how rim width and offset plays into the consideration.

I’m still lost
I still can’t figure out why my tires are rubbing on the right side only. I have a 2008 GX470 Sport with KDSS AND 2012 GX 460 stock wheel on it. Rubbing on the right side. I’d really like to figure this out. I can go back to stock wheels but I think that they’re going to run as well.
Drivers side no rub
Passenger side rubbing and a different looking interior

Check your alignment.
But I would guess the fender liner is out of shape. You can probably use a heat gun and move it to where it doesn't touch any more.
