Default Rear Air Suspension

Hello,
I have a question regarding the rear air suspension. After driving the vehicle for a short or extended period of time, I hear the rear passenger airbag/air-line loosing air as I turn off the ignition. I wanted to ask if this is normal or if I have a leak somewhere. I am planning on checking this out this weekend but wanted to ask about your experiences. Thanks.

Normal. If you don't hear that then there is a problem.

Is it as you turn the key off, or as you step out? Because stepping out changes the weight of the truck and the pump will run briefly to re-adjust the height.

Thanks all for your quick replies. I cannot hear the leak when the vehicle is running due exhaust noise. But as soon as I turn OFF the vehicle (key removed) and pass the rear, I can hear an air leak.

Park in a quiet area, roll down your driver's window, and turn the key off. Do you hear the pump run? You shouldn't.

Now step out of the vehicle. You should hear it run as it adjusts for you stepping out, and then shut off after a few moments.

Seems like it is functioning normally like everyone was talking about. I didn't know the suspension adjusted based on weight of the passengers. Thanks for all your inputs!
