Default Push Pins for front bumper and under hood plastics

Guys,

Removed my front bumper and some of the push pins broke. I'm also missing some from under the hood for the plastics covering the motor. Does anyone have the part number for these? Or has anyone picked them up at their local auto parts store? Thanks,

Jonny

I have a mix of OEM and aftermarket, I'm honestly tempted to pull all the plastic covers off and stick them in the attic for when I eventually go to sell this truck, all they do is get in the way when you do your own service.

But it looks so nice with all that plastic covering the engine.

Amazon carries a box of 25 for $7, which is a huge savings over buying them at the dealer.

Amazon.com: 7mm Hole, 20mm Head, 8mm Stem Toyota Push In Rivet (Qty: 25) Gripper Box # 2146T: Automotive Amazon.com: 7mm Hole, 20mm Head, 8mm Stem Toyota Push In Rivet (Qty: 25) Gripper Box # 2146T: Automotive

Member Dx3 says these don't fit.

The part is #13, which I found here:

that is great info mine is missing like evry other one. I removed the left plastic around the airbox completely and kept the right one and engine cover on, still looks good.
the one in the front is a pain, probably encountered it when you did the HID's I know I did.

Maybe its my imagination, but I have driven around without any of the plastic underhood shielding and I seemed to notice more engine noise. Maybe all that plastic helps keep things quiet.

Default Engine cover pins

Anyone seen or done any modifications on these pins, do they make a twist lock version?
I am tired of chasing these pins around when I push them in and they pop out from underneath....

I use the ones like item# 451425. Easy to remove with a plastic trim tool or just grab with needle nose pliers and remove. They are in the fastener section at Lowes. look for the automotive fasteners drawers.

Go on Ebay and search on Toyota/Lexus retaining pins. I got a package of 50 7MM pins for about $5.

Sometimes they break upon removal, but hey, I have 50 of them!!
