Hi,

anyone know if there is a substitute cd magazine that we can use aside from the one originally supplied with the Lexus CD-Changer?

just wanted to see if I can buy some extra cd-magazines without having to go to the dealership and buying an original one (might be more expensive)

Which Lexus model are you referring to? The GX has an in dash 6CD unit. There is no magazine.

In the GX with NAV, the CD goes into the glove compartment with a cartridge. I used my "loyalty" to get my dealer to give me a couple extra when I bought the truck.

have the navi too so my changer is in the glove compartment.

guess i will just have to buy a couple of spares.

I bought my magazines spares from Pioneer, they were like $20.00 each.

Where did you order your spare CD changer magazine? Is it model number JD-612V? The Pioneer web site is asking $25 fir it plus shipping.

Lexus dealership is asking $47.00 plus tax on the cd magazine for the changers in the GX.

go to the guy or lady that sold you the car.. ask them they should be able to hook you up i mean you drop'd alot of money in their pockets...

I bought them here in Panama at the Pioneer dealer, I paid like 20 or 22.

$25.00 seems about right. Much better than pay Lexus/Toyota $47.00

Lexus dealership parts tech made a mistake and quoted the LX cd changer magazine instead of the GX-470 cd changer magazine.

The LX one costs $47.00 but the GX one costs around over $90.00

must be made of GOLD.
