i agree, I literally received the lawsuit paperwork the day after I received the check from Lexus. I had gone the route of paying for myself and sending in the receipts . It was amazing they had a dash within a week. Received check 2 months after sending in paperwork followed the process the extended warranty letter had in it. Kept copies and sent registered signature required.

Default Cracked Dash GX 460 2007
My dash has hairline cracks showing up just recently in my 2007 GX460. Is this something that is covered under any warranty?

Yes, the warranty is good until May 2017 I believe.

bmuckenfus - that's how mine started off, with small cracks running along above the instrument cluster.

Stop by your dealer and ask about coverage. They'll take photos and send them off to corporate for approval.

If any of you are from North Texas, what dealer did you have success with? Just bought a 2007 and other than a bad cassette player, the cracked dash is the main issue.

Huh? My leather is just now starting to show wear at 235k miles. And I'm in the south.

Never heard another complaint about the leather.

My both front seats were bad even though rest of the truck is in great condition. I got both of them redone at a leather upholstery place at 80k miles 2007.

I am waiting for my dash from Lexus of Wayzata. I was told it will take about 3-4 weeks now six months has passed still no dash. Anyone else here waiting fir that long?

I got it installed after 4 months but the other dealer in my area called me after 8 months last months. So I'm assuming it can take that long. Good luck try registering at all your local dealers. Whoever calls you first is your best bet.
