Does anyone know of a source for replacement leather seat covers for the 1st gen GX? I've purchased replacement seat covers from leatherseats.com in the past (GS300), and they turned out great. For some reason, leatherseats.com does not carry anything for the GX. I'm looking for replacement leather, not slip-on covers.

I once remember asking the Toyota dealer about a color combo for a Highlander that was not available and told me on several occasions that if it meant I would buy one, he would change the leather upholstery to match my taste at no cost. He even stated that the request was common as many did not like the ash gray leather. (I wanted black interior)

Also, I would try some place like a reputable stereo/alarm business. Good luck!

Factory leather cushions, seat backs, etc are stupid expensive. The only thing more expensive is factory replacement wood trim.

Aftermarket leather is likely a helluva lot cheaper ... and it just might be a higher quality, too.

I'm going to need to replace the leather on my driver side seat back in the next few years. I'm likely to go factory for simplicity, but haven't come to terms with the high price.
