Default Rear License Plate Bolt Size

Just got my permanent plates and the bolts used by the dealer are definitely not the correct ones. Anyone know what size the correct ones should be? I don't feel like going to ACE and buying one of every size close to it.

And is the front just screws or is there something on the back side of the bumper to grab onto?

Funny you should ask. Just redid my plates this week.

Rear is M6x1.0 16mm length is good

I'm not positive, but I think I used #14 black Phillips screws on the front. You might want to try a #12 first and see if it grabs.

This must be the 'Plate' week, I FINALLY got mine last week after almost 4 months. I've mentioned in other post, I bought my truck out of state (KY), the dealer sent in paperwork to Secretary of state, 2$ short, the KY temp plate was expiring, Illinois won't give me one cuz paperwork wasn't in the system (papers were sent back to the dealer to collect the 2$) etc etc... big headache, lol.

I replaced the plastic screws that came with the car in the back with the metal ones I got from auto parts store. I bought bigger wood screw looking things for the fronts, as it was going into plastic, which I had to drill holes for since KY doesn't use fronts as we do here in Illinois. (I bought both sets of screws from auto parts store)
I added something called 'Flexyframe' from amazon, soft rubber backing to give the truck bit of a finished look since we don't have front brackets. I'd post up a picture, but wife has the truck and she's at work.
