Icon Stage 2 Lift Kit Installation
Lift kit was installed by CNC Off Road. CNC Off Road used the Metal Tech rear coil spring conversion kit. I was expecting a 2" lift,, but the final lift turned out to be more like 3.5" due to the height of the rear coils supplied in the Icon kit. I'm NOT complaining! The GX now rides the way you'd expect a vehicle with a 3.5" lift to ride. Handling is surprisingly good, but the steering wheel does not return to the neutral position the way it did when stock. The ride height is perfect - eyeball to eyeball with the F150's. Potholes and railroad tracks - they are not there anymore.
SOME PICS:
Clearance problem before surgery:
After surgery:
After Heat Gun Melt of Fender Well:
Icon Upper Control Arms:
Rear Upper Spring Perch:
Rear Lower Spring Perch (Metal Tech):
(I plan on re-trimming the front fender wells when the weather improves.)

EDIT (4/5/14)
Here are the lift specs with the 285/70/17 tires installed: Front 3" Rear: 3 3/16"
Highest point on roof rack is 79" from the ground. (Can't go through my favorite car wash anymore.
Blank panel on console
Removed the air suspension relay (located next to the main under hood fuse box) and the "TEMS" 20A fuse under the dash. No codes no warning lights!

The lift was $3800 for everything including alignment. (not including rims and tires of course)
(Sold my motorcycle on Monday so I could keep the credit card balance at zero.)
