The liner is better than the mat, no questions. The liner protects the carpet a few inches up from the floor, the mat simply can't do that. Worth the extra money.

The tan weathertech is the same colour as the darker tan colour of the dash, centre console, and upper door sills. Looks good, ties it all together IMO

The weathertech liners are very close to the factory gray color. Its not exactly, but any difference is so subtle that you really can't tell the difference unless you really look hard. The WeatherTech liners do not get slippery when wet.
