Nothing that extreme, although doing an engine swap would be pretty cool.

I think I'm setting this thread up for failure. Once yall see what it is, yall will probably never respond to any of my threads anymore due to the let down.

Sad part is you will be busy with your new vehicle and wont participate here. I have seen this on Mercedes forum in the past. Haven't seen Mann777 for a while. There are few other good poster here and hope they can help like you and Mann have helped many.
By the way I already know what it is see post #16 with added 3rd row.

It's coming from Tennessee and because of the state of emergency due to the snow & ice this past week it delayed everything.

If you get ride of your GX I'm getting rid of mine too. There's going to be a tidal wave of used GX's on the market driving values down to zero. Careful RC

I'm just really hoping you are not picking up an Escalade or GM truck that was built around the same model years as your GX.
I experimented with an 03' Escalade ESV for a bit, which was an awesome truck, but ended up being the biggest financial mistake i ever made. Had to trade it in after the frame was rusting out, and the electrical system and Engine bearings were toast at 130K miles, and promptly went back to Toyota with my GX. The quality difference on the Escalade is almost laughable compared to the GX.
GM is fine, so long as you get an older model that has a proven track record. I wouldn't dare gamble with the newer stuff though!!!
