GX470 vs. Land Cruiser
I love the GX470, but: the 3rd row seat is too small, the rear door doesn't open easily in my garage, the front passenger seat only has 4-way controls and no lumbar support. It seems that the Land Cruiser has a similar ride, exterior is not much larger but has more room in 3rd row, a convenient split rear door, and an 8-way front passenger seat with lumbar support. I think the navigation systems are identical? Additionally, I have found that I can lease the Land Cruiser for less than the GX470.
I'd appreciate input to help with my decision. Thanks.

Lumbar Support
that's funny because mine has the lumbar support
its actually two little buttons located just before the slider switch
the third row seat in the GX is built for kids.
i would not recommend having an adult sit in the third row
i agreee that the rear swing out door takes some getting used too

Land Cruiser
If you could get a Land Cruiser for cheaper than a GX, then I'd say go for it, unless you truly NEED Lexus dealer level service. My Toyota dealers are great. Not at the high end level of Lexus, but still great nonetheless. The Land Cruiser is a solid truck, used as the basis of the LX470, which I'm sure you know. You'd lose an adaptive suspension, which the GX has.. the Mark Levinson Stereo, and maybe that's it???? Can't think of too many other things off the top of my head. Land Cruiser stickers are above GX, which I'm sure you also know.
