I don't have a GX but my wife wants one, so that's the reason I joined this board to learn more about them...
w.r.t cabin air filters I have done this mod to all the cars we've owned over the years and it works great (my wife has severe allergies to everything) to keep the interior air fresh and dust, dander free. The best part for me is that it's reusable so it's a one time expense.

That WAS a mouses' nest. The poop was under the feathers. And yes, I breathed that all the way from Portland to Salt Lake City.
