285/50/20 vs 275/55/20 tires rubbing??
I have the stats on the size differences and speedo difference. If these are used in a 20x8.5 +15mm offset rim, would either fit without rubbing issues? Thank you.

You'll probably have rubbing w/ the 275/55 and maybe some slight rubbing w/ the 285/50. It's hard to say for sure since different tire manufactures are not going to have the same diameter tires even if they have the same ratios. Your best bet is to go to discount tire or wherever you're going to buy your tires from and have them test fit them for you. That way you know 100%.
Just for comparison;
I'm running 18 x 9 / 0mm offset wheels; 4.5" backspace
285/60/18 NTG: 31.30" diameter; My NTG rubbed a little before trimming but the tread is chunkier than street tires.
You're running 20 x 8.5 / +15mm offset wheel; 4.84" backspace
275/55/20 (? Tire manf): 31.91" diameter
285/50/20 (? TIre manf): 31.22" diamter
You're wheels without tires sit almost 3/8" closer to the UCAs than mine do but my wheels stick out 3/4" more than yours.

I did a search and saw quite a few GX owners mention that tire size but they always ended up going w/ a different tire size?
