Anyone seen pics of this set-up?

I think the standard GX460 wheels look great on our GX470, but am wondering about this variation.

The standard GX460 wheels look great on the older GX470, but I'm still wondering if the new F-Sport wheels will look even better.

I've seen a couple photos of them on the GX460 over on that forum and I personally thought they were a poor visual match for the truck. With the finer spokes, they look insubstantial and smaller than the "basic" GX460 alloys.

The one thing they have going for them, though, is lighter weight. IIRC they're something like 20% lighter than the stock wheels (based on Lexus marketing materials I saw). That said, I don't dig the look. Just IMHO.

Yes, the GX460 wheels in the pics above are great - especially the smoke gray set on Stiles' rig.

I read somewhere on here that the GX460 wheels are heavier, which translated to longer stopping distances and slower acceleration for our GX470s. Not what I want. Maybe it was Stiles?!

That's why I'm fixated on the F-Sports...

the tires I happened to choose (Michelin at/2) are a bunch heavier. I don't know how the wheels compare to our or wheels. Just fwiw.

Well, looks are a personal preference of course. To me the GX 460 wheels look too much like my wife's RX 350 wheels. I prefer the stock 470 wheels.

Again, just my opinion, if you are going to buy wheels, why not go aftermarket and get something really different than OEM wheels??

I have not seen F-Sport wheels on a GX 470, but I just saw a picture of the wheels themselves, and I think they would look sharp on a 470.

I’m considering the 18in. standard gx460 wheels in hyper silver for my grey 470 , but I’d like to see a set of F-sport dark grey wheels on a 470 as well.
