Default Rear Wiper Blade

Trying to locate the correct rear wiper blade. When I look in the books at the stores, it doesn't list a wiper blade. I'm wondering if it's like my Land Rover where you have to buy a super expensive wiper blade for the rear.

Where can I get a new blade for the rear?

Thanks.

From the dealer, and it's actually very reasonably priced. It's actually just an insert, and I want to say it was around $12 or so.

I got a new rear wiper blade at Autozone. They carry Trico which makes exact fit rear blades. Part #16a for my 2005 GX which is 16 inch. $10 and looks exactly like the one that came off. I'm happy with it.

The Lexus wiper inserts are only about $10 also. Not sure I get the idea of going aftermarket here. Note the insert rubber is replaced, not the wiper itself, which is quite a bit more than $10.

Thanks.

Not saying I have to go aftermarket. I didn't realize the price was reasonable. On my Rover, it's like $45ish for a rear blade replacement.

Thanks for the info on the Trico 16A exact fit rear blade. I bought one for $9.99 at O-Reilly Auto Parts and made the replacement. It took about 5 mins. It works perfectly -- no more streaking and squealing from the rear wiper!

1) 16” worked fine. 16-A had the proper connection.

2) Pop the cover off the base of the arm. There is a tab that goes down in between the wiper arm and the assembly. This tab probably keeps the arm from lifting up off the glass. It’s also why when you pull back on the blade it only lifts a little bit off the glass. I accidentally broke the tab off and had to pull it out with pliers. I put the tab back in when I finished since it probably does keep the arm from lifting up due to wind or debris. Not sure how to remove the cover without breaking the tab. Be more careful than me I guess.

3) See the tab broken off in there.

4) Pull the arm back. It will lock out.

6) Continue to rotate the blade. When it stops you should be able to just pull it out.

7) Here's what the end of the arm looks like.
