How high am I
Thought this might be fun. who's gotten their altimeter the highest. I'll start mine off low to spark interest, but I plan on setting the bar a lot higher when the snow melts.

Has anyone checked the accuracy on the altimeter? Is it plus/minus several feet?
When I get home I am going to check my reading against the 1ft contours I have available in my office. I think being with 5-10 feet is accurate. It's not like I am trying to fly and land by instrument panel only.

mine regularly tells me -150 in and around Baton Rouge, LA. I'd says its range of accuracy is a couple hundred feet.

I checked and it was off by 250 too low.
Set my elevation and ran to a meeting. When I returned home it was off by 50 high.
Clear cool night and windows up while driving
