I have already replaced the driver side rear sensor and now apparently need to replace the right side rear sensor. I'm thinking of just replacing the air shocks with springs and shocks from Strutmasters and hopefully avoid further expensive suspension repairs in the future. Does anyone have experience with replacing the air shocks with regular springs/shocks?

Nobody answered, probably figured you should have ran a search. Some have had rear suspension ride height, bottoming out, and similar problems. Others have not. I had an 08 with 70K miles and not had a problem. He is one link to a conversion.

I have a new Land Cruiser now and surprised that is doesn't come with air suspension. KDSS is standard, and just 4 link coils and shocks in the rear. I have had both now. My Land Cruiser has a pretty smooth ride with just shocks and coils. Haven't put any toungue weight/ trailer on it yet. That is where the air suspension would be important, to level everything out. If towing is not in your game plan, that may be the conversion will be right for you. Good luck
