2006 GX470 CD Changer Wiring Diagram for an Aux for iPhone 5
I have a 2006 with Nav, Mark Levinson, but no rear seat entertainment. I have head rest units but the car didn't have a factory rear seat system. I read a thread about tapping into the L and R channels from the Changer's wires to make a cheap AUX (it's under the $16 AUX thread). However in the thread it stated on a 2005 GX that the harness out of the back of the changer had 10 wires, mine has about 22. Anyone know which are right and left? I don't need the changer to work for CD's so I want to pull those to a 3.5mm cable that I'm going to run to a Blackberry gateway (that I'll hardwire power for) so that I can hit changer and send A2DP bluetooth wireless to my radio from whatever phone I have. I figure with the new iPhone coming out I don't want to buy a system with a dedicated plug (like a GROM) when my kids have the 30 pin and my new iPhone 5 is coming soon. Though the OEM BT isn't great I still retain steering wheel function on calling. I have the cable, the Gateway is like $24 on Amazon, I figure if it sounds great I save on a car kit.
Thanks for your help.

I got it done and worked great. Out of the harness is ten wires and I cut and soldered into the L and R and ground to a male 3.5mm cable. Then I hardwired a blackberry charger for the Blackberry A2DP gateway. I left the power and wires connected to the changer so it runs as normal, but the sound comes from the gateway via the phone. It actually works great. I hit disc and boom great clear sound from any A2DP capable phone.
