Dealership Suggests Full Engine Replacement

Very easy to a leak down test. Put cylinder top dead center. Use a 3/8 extension out in camber rotate crank until it is at the highest. Buy gauge from harbor freight. Put air in. Listen for the air. If it bubbles the radiator then it's head gasket. If u hear it inthe throttle body then it is intake valve. If it is dip stick then you know rings or pistons. If it is exhaust then you know exhaust valves. $60 gauge and a compressor. Probably burnt valve or sticky valve

Thanks for all the information, you guys are great. Do any of you have an idea what it would cost to have a valve job done on a GX as it really seems to look like that is the problem. Also I have a call into Lexus Corp and they said i should here back within 2 days, if they tell me they can't do anything I will have a leak down test done and let you guys know what i find out.
Thanks again

definitely get a second opinion at a reliable independent. You might try Angies List. It's only 3.99/month or something and you can get a real good idea about almost any local shop.
