2012 Limited 4Runner 20" Wheels on GX470?
Has anyone put 2012 Limited 4Runner 20" Wheels on a GX470? I have found some on other forums for a good price and was wondering how they would look on the GX470 and if backspacing is the same. It would also be a good excuse to put the GX's wheels on my 3rd generation 4Runner
Additionally, if there is someone who has done this, Do the Lexus Hub caps from the stock GX wheels fit in the 20" 4Runner Wheels?

Guys with 4th gen 4runners have done it so it'll work. Nobody with a GX has done it. Backspacing wont be the same but as long as the dont see to much inboard they should work. You need to do some research and find out the exact specs and that will help you to make you decision as far as fitment is concerned.....

I was aware of that site, I just wanted to see the exact wheel on a GX maybe I'm OCD. Then again it is a lot of trouble not knowing if they will look right or not. The other half of the question that remains unanswered is weather the center caps from the GX will fit those wheels?
Also the overall diameter of the stock 4Runner tire is 31.7(32") and the stock GX tire is 30.6(31").
I would want to utilize stock 4Runner tires so I am concerned about fit also.
Additionally does anyone know if the offset is the same for the GX and 4Runner?

These wheels are designed for a much more boxy suv with much straighter lines as you can see. I will not look right with the GX. Our OEM wheels are better. Your also going to lose on MPG.

Thanks llebcire! looks great, exactly what I had in mind. Now I just need find a set of five at a decent price. Probly should research fitment in depth as well, need to find someone with a limited 4runner that is willing to let me borrow their wheels for a day

Looks good to me...Why do you think the mileage will suffer? Do the 4Runner wheels weigh a lot more?

Thanks for the tip IMm29, I missed out on the first set I found but there was only four anyway so would have had to find a fifth. Still looking for a set of five...

Not to take this off topic, but these wheels will go great with the 6-piston Toyota Tundra TRD calipers. I am seriously thinking about getting a pair, but i also need bigger wheels than the OEM 17". Makes the whole project too $$$.
