So are there also proper projector/reflectors out there for HID upgrades?

Really? So why take the "OEM" look of the GX470 (chrome trims) and black them out? Put non-OEM rims on the GX? First generation GX's don't have OEM HID lights. OEM in the first gen GX are 55 watt halogen bulbs.

Yes, you are a "popular guy" (or so you may think so). LOL

I was just on the Sewell site ordering more parts again. For the life of me, I couldnt find any black spray painted badges there. Called my dealer, they also told me they dont spray paint badges, but the parts guys 5 year old son would be willing to spray paint mine for an ice cream cone. Im just trying to figure out if that would still mean my truck was largely OEM or not.

Those I've seen and am well aware of. Actually even considering buying a set. It's the spray painted option I can't seem to find in an oem.

Huh. The second link is the DIY for painting the emblems.

ha I didnt even read that plasti-dip link. Theres no way Id pay $300 for those black emblems. You can take your emblems to a painter and have them paint them for probably $50.

Ive used plasti-dip alot in the past, mainly for grille trim. It holds up well but it has a flat / semi-flat look so if you want gloss thats not the way to go.
