well if you are considering other makes and models then take a look at the sequoia, they are plenty and cheap and make a very good truck if you need something larger... just a thought

Well tried one and didn't fit - to tight around the shoulders. Well it look like the Jeep Commander or the Tahoe. Wanted to thank all of you for your advice, it was appreciated

You owe yourself some time behind the wheel of 08 + Infiniti QX56es too. I came close to one myself and the 08 on ar much improved and gigantic. Nice trucks. And if a Jeep is even on the consideration list, then also check out the Infinitis brother the Armada.

These are nice trucks in their later years, depreciate rather quickly, come FAR better equipped than the LExuses and are gargantuan all over. Many more convenience features as well. Great trucks.

This may be a dead thread but I thought I'd throw in my two cents anyway. I'm 6'9" and 230. The leg room in the GX is not the best, but there is plenty of shoulder room and it's probably the tallest vehicle we've ever owned. We've previously owned an RX 300 and an RX 350, both of those were great cars but very uncomfortable for me to drive due to the height of the cabin, shoulder room, leg room, and position of the center console. However, if you're 6'7" then you'll probably understand this: I can wear a baseball hat in the GX with the seat fully upright without my head bumping the ceiling - and it has a sun roof. The leg room again isn't the best, but it's not terrible. While I've never seen a car that allows me to fully extend my legs while driving, the GX's center console is set low enough that I can rest my right knee on top of the console instead of having it confine my leg to one position.

Default leg room

IMO if you like to have ample leg room(without your knees up close to the steering wheel) you may not like he GX too much. I am of average height (5'91/2") and still wish I could move the seat back more. I have it all the way back now. Typical Japanese, if you ask me. They are short people. Mind you, my knees have plenty of clearance but I would like to stretch out a little.
