dvd headrest installs
Hey guys,
I just finished my dvd headrest installation. i put a set of dvd 7 inch screen that i got from ebay. i used the same set on my 08 sequoia and they work awesome. this year the price has gone down so much they were only $200 shipped from china and got here in 5 days via fedex
installation was pretty straight forward
unclip the lower leather piece.
remove two c clips
use fish tape to fish down the head rest
then pull a piece of wire back to the top
tie that to the new headrest wires and pull them out the bottom.
12v on was real easy. grey wire in the middle of the seat.
ground was used by using the screw that holds the plastic on.
works awesome. if u use the same power source you don't have to worry about video cutting out when car starts. only down side is video output wire they gave me was super short and i ended up not using it. the kit came with two remotes, two infrared headsets, two controllers and pretty much everything needed to install.
Thanks,
Sid

I have had the same ones for two years now. Still working great. My 6 year old is very rough on them and they are still going. I gave them 6 months to live because of the price.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mem...0&ref=gnr-next
Best electronic nanny you can buy for long trips. I have them on a RX but I have been eyeballing the GX so I'll be trolling here for a bit.
