I use the all weather mats and our third row seats have been out and stored since the day we brought it home. I had custom covers made for the middle row by a California company for my peace of mind when my Aussie is in the car. I hope your driving takes you beyond Texas so you can experience how well this vehicle handles in really bad weather -- other than a Texas thunderstorm. You made a great purchase.
