Water Stains Rremoval on Windshield
Hey Fellas,
In the Summer I was parked in an derground parking lot overnight.
Apparently, there was a leaking pipe above the car that dropped small dropplets of water on my windshield. When I noticed the leaky pipe the next day I thought nothing of it. Recently while washing my car I notice the dry water spot on the windshield down in a straight line formation.
I tried almost everything on the windshield to remove the water stains but so far, the effort went unsuccessful. I tried windex, vinegar water mix solution, Glass plus, with a microfiber towel.
The water stains are still there! I know there's gotta be some type of cleane out r that can get rid of them.
Please help.
Thanks

I've used glass cleaning clay to remove water spots like you describe - not as abrasive as some of the other methods, so might be a good thing to try first before moving on to the more aggressive steps cleaners or chemicals

Acetone or MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) from any hardware store. Just be careful not to get it on painted parts.
Cotton rag over your finger, make it just wet enough to prevent dripping, ones stain are gone wipe and polish with dry section of the rag. It will quickly remove anything, just go little by little area.
Autobody clay is good too, car washes use it for detailing or removing overspray paint, but it's expensive stuff.
Sometimes they even call it overspray or detailing clay.
Good luck.
