I'd be more conservative and start negotiating at $27K. Be prepared to walk away if they flat out refuse - they will call you back - there aren't that many buyers looking for a full size V8 SUV today.

Try to find out how long it has been on the dealers lot - carfax will usually show title transfers. The longer it sat on the lot the more leverage you have!!!
