Has anyone heard that the GX platform would be used for the new Land Cruiser or 4-runner?

It is DEFINITELY used for the next 4Runner, which should actually be hitting dealers within the next few weeks I believe. It is also rumored that what we in America know as the Land Cruiser is slowly being phased out. It was pointed out that in Europe the GX470 is being sold as a straight up Toyota Land Cruiser, and not a Land Cruiser 90/Prado, as it was once called before. Our larger versionis usually called the Land Cruiser Amazon I believe. This fits with other rumors that the Lexus LX470 will also be replaced with a luxury version of the Sequoia called the VX. Making the Sequoia/VX platform the new top dog. Hope this answers some of your questions...
