Hi, I'm new and read many of your great insights before finally purchasing a pre-owned 2009 GX 470. I'm really happy and enjoying the vehicle - I have some questions I hope someone can help me with. Also, I'm not very astute with this type of media/participating in a forum (my first post ever) - please be patient and hopefully I can get up to speed in a relatively short period. Also, I'm not anywhere close to being a wannabe mechanic.

When braking, I hear a noise like a scrapping sound. It is not a hissing sound - my mechanic drove it with me during certification and he thinks it is the pads making the noise. Mechanic does not believe it to be an issue and if it continues, I should let him know in a few months time. The braking action itself is fine - the vehicle does slow down to a complete stop without any issue...besides the noise.

Also, where's the antenna on this vehicle? In the manual, it's on the roof located near the back. Just wondering because I went through the manual.

Lastly, when parking underground, is there a minimum height I should be looking out for to avoid damage to the roof racks and spoiler?
