Hi everyone, I just wanted to say hi and thank everyone who has contributed so much great info on this forum.

I haven't even had my GX for a week yet and this forum has already helped me get the lexus tow hitch at a good price (thanks park place lexus in grapevine), which break controller to get, how to do a HID light conversion as well as many other things.

Thanks everyone,

Proud owner of a 2007 GX47

I will have to take pictures and post. I got a 2007 Ash Blue with 19.900 miles on it CPO from Sewell Lexus in Dallas. Really excited about it. I am having the lexus hitch put on this weekend and will take some pictures and share. Can't wait to do some of the mods that have been posted about on this forum.

Wow! 19K miles, sounds great! I hope you're not having the Lexus dealer put the hitch on? U-haul dealers will do it for much, much less.

Actually thanks to you I am having Uhaul do it. I actually had searched the forums and found the topic where you told about getting the CL discount and taking it to Uhual for the install. I got the CL discount at Park Place (sewell tried to tell me I could only get the discount online?) and I am having the hitch installed by Uhaul tomorrow.

Thanks! Saved me quite a bit of money

If you don't mind sharing how much is the hitch install at Uhaul? I have the hitch installed on mine but need to get the wiring done. Does Uhaul have the wiring kit for our GX?

BlairC made a comment, then LOCKED the thread to preclude a response. I suspect he has been engaged by Lexus to operate in social networking sites on its behalf without revealing that relationship. SHAME ON YOU! Doesn't the Torrance, CA Office of The CEO understand that TEPCO and Sony coverup tactics won't work in the digital age, and that they only reflect badly on parent Company Toyota, which already has its hands full.

Haul charged me $90. Said it took them 1.5 hours at a rate of $60 an hour. It turned out real nice and was a lot cheaper than the $240 Lexus was charging. I don't know I Lexus charges $120 an hour or what because it does t take more than 2 hours for the install.

I am not sure about the wiring harness my gx had the tow prep package on it. Hopefully someone else can give advice about that.
