Default Lifted GX470 with 22" wheels and big tires

I wanted my GX470 to stand out from the rest so I built a 2.5" lift kit and put 305/45/22 tires on 22" wheels on it.

Here are some pictures.

How's it look?

Thanks!
Seems to ride as well as it did with the stock tires and wheels. These tires are very quiet on the highway. I like them.

Terra Grapplers look great!!!

The rims are too "blingy" for my taste, but hey, its your truck...

How did the new shoes affect the gas mileage?

I love the Lift and the size of the rims and tires. Looks great!

You must drive like a grandma!!!

I only get 17 mpg average on the stock GX.

Is the gas in your area an ethanol mix or pure gasoline? That may explain the difference...

Looks great, love the lift. Rims are too much chrome for me but thats why its your truck! If you have any details on what you used/made to get the lift done I'd love to hear/see pics...

Very nice, on a unrelated note, i like how the gx forum is much more mature about expressing their opinions then those in the gs/is/sc forums. If something comes up that they don't liek it comes down to three things...it sucks, drop it, tuck the wheels.

I think what is unique about our rigs is that you can go either way. Up/down, bling/unbling and they will still look good. Stockstink went up AND bling which is pretty cool. I opted for bling as I admitted that I'm not going to be wheeling any time soon with this one. Later in life, I do want to lift and go with some A/T tires.

I LOVE my GX and with only 22K miles, I have many years ahead of me with it. That is....until I find a GX460 for a good price!
