With roughly 67k mi on my original CT's I decided despite having some tread-live left, that it was time to buy some new CT's before they were all gone. My local tire shop sourced them and had them in within 2 days. I had them installed over the weekend and boy what a tremendous difference they made in the road handling ability of my GX. So much smoother and quiter. I didn't realize just how far my tires wore down. The new CT's look so much bigger. Anyway, glad I got them while they are still around, should be good for another 67k mi!

BTW, if anyone is thinking about replacing their tires now, Michelin has a $70 rebate special going through April 6th.

CTs are awesome tires, I had them on my 4Runner and was wondering why would Lexus put Dunflops on the GX

According to a Michelin rep, Michelin only discontinued certain sizes and 265/65/17 CTs are NOT discontinued.

Thats good news. I love my CT's. I actually just bought 4 from Ebaymotors for $400 delivered with near new tread(11/32's). I think they come new with 12/32's so a great deal for 1/2 price. DOT date on them was the end of 07.

about $940 installed and Road Force Balanced. Then we get $70 back due to the promotion.

my ct lasted 90k miles...i could have gone another 10k but winter was coming.

As could I, but I noticed that wet, snow, and sand traction really degraded, so I opted to get new tires. I probably had another 20k to go before they reached the wear bar.
