DVD and back mirror
Hello All
We're about to buy a 2007 GX, but are concerned about the DVD being on the ceiling (as opposed to the head rests), and want to get some input as to how much that interferes with the rear view mirror when driving.
For those of you that have that system, does that bother you? Doesn't it block the view?
Also, how problematic is the cargo space with the seats taking up so much of the room?

I dont find the DVD being folded down in the way at all. I had the same concern initially but my son now gets to use the dvd alot and it really doesnt interfere. Just look a little lower, its a quick adjustment for the driver.
The 3rd row..sigh....I will preface this with I use the cargo space alot... it just requires planning...if you need the extra space pull them out, they are so ridiculouly easy to remove it takes 2 minutes. I thought I would leave them out full time, however we seem to be the vehicle of choice right now for outings so I leave them in. With them in you can still manage most tasks/loads, remember your second row folds up as well giving additional space.
I do not leave the third row seats tethered up normally, my wife thinks that impairs her visibility when driving the truck. I personally don't but we do things for the one....bla bla bla...hope that helps...

Your feedback is much appreciated. It is really good to know that those seats are removable - I actually asked the guy if that could be done and he had no idea.
Thank you again - it really helped our decision.

Hi, Just bought a 2005 GX470 w/ 67K miles. It's for my wife and she loves it! I want to install an aftermarket ceiling mount DVD player - anyone have any suggestions? Finally, I will want to get her some cool wheels too - pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Merry Christmas!
